This fully assembled, museum-quality "Exclusive Edition" replica of the USS. Constellation, the last all-sail warship designed and built by the U.S. Navy, is a unique collector's item. Each model features a distinct serial number etched onto the hull, serving as a testament to its individuality and providing access to detailed information regarding its production history and materials used.Master craftsmen meticulously handcrafted these highly detailed wood models from scratch, using historical photographs, drawings, or original plans as reference. Each model is built to scale with premium materials like western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. Employing the plank-on-frame construction method used in actual shipbuilding, each constellation model is 100% hand-built, requiring hundreds of hours to complete. Before leaving the workshop, each constellation USS model ship undergoes a rigorous quality control process, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and accuracy.This amazing model of the USS Constellation features a plank of frame hull, two decks, and one stretched ferocious row of metal cannons on each side of the ship. The front bowsprit and three large masts are connected securely using advanced rigging and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand. Each yard has an attached hand-stitched rolled-up sails made of fine linen. The glorious American flag is attached to the mizzen yard. Metal anchors and a wooden rudder are visible on the front and rear of the ship. On the deck, there are stationed metal cannons, metal steering wheels, wood ladders and cranes, captain's dining and sleeping cabins, and many other handcrafted ornaments. There is also an exquisite detailed admiral's quarter on stern with beautiful decorative brass ornaments and an authentic hand-built lifeboat with ribs and planks.Displayed on a solid wood base with a brass nameplate, this USS Constellation model ship is a perfect gift for home or office decorators, boat enthusiasts, and passionate collectors.
