Launched in July 2021, the National Geographic Endurance is a state-of-the-art expedition cruise ship named in honor of polar explorer Ernest Shackleton’s legendary vessel.

This model comes FULLY ASSEMBLED and ready for display. The hull is expertly crafted using the plank-on-frame method, ensuring structural integrity and a smooth, seamless finish. Our master craftsmen handcraft each model from scratch, relying on historical photographs, blueprints, and original ship plans to ensure accuracy.

The ship's distinctive design and color scheme are carefully replicated, featuring a sleek blue hull with a bold yellow stripe, along with the National Geographic emblem and branding on the bow. The detailed windows, decks, and railings are finely crafted, capturing the true essence of the ship.

This model is built to scale with premium-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany, ensuring durability and authenticity. No plastic parts are used—only the highest-quality wood and metal materials. Each model is 100% hand-built, following the same traditional techniques used in real shipbuilding.

The superstructure is painted white, contrasting beautifully with the darker hull, and features precisely detailed balconies, observation areas, and lifeboats. The twin funnel design and satellite domes on the top deck are carefully modeled, reflecting the ship’s advanced engineering. The stern section includes additional lifeboats and intricate details, completing the ship’s authentic look.

With hundreds of hours of meticulous work, the hull is varnished with multiple layers, giving it a luxurious, glossy finish. Resting on a solid wood base with a brass nameplate, this ship model is a perfect centerpiece for collectors, maritime enthusiasts, and office or home décor.
