This fun speed boat is from the era of big fins and wings. The sporty Cobra model is hand-crafted from strips of hard wood, planks on frame. The model is fully assembled and is ready to be proudly display.Master craftsmen handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch using historical photographs, drawings and original plan. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as: western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. They are 100% hand built individually using plank-on-frame construction method and are similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop. The sporty Cobra model is hand-crafted from strips of hard wood, planks on frame. The deck is joining with tiny strips of cedar mix with mahogany. The hatch and fin section is painted in gold color. The fittings and glass windshield are brass and chromed as stainless steel. The rudders and propellers are also brass and chromed as gold. This sporty Chris Craft Cobra recalls the 50's era.
