HMS Prince of Wales (R09) is one of the Royal Navy's largest and most advanced aircraft carriers, built to support global carrier strike and expeditionary operations. Featuring a massive flight deck and modern naval aviation systems, the vessel represents the centerpiece of the United Kingdom's modern naval power.



This 30-inch handcrafted model is meticulously built using the traditional plank-on-frame method and premium-grade woods, including Western Red Cedar, Teak, and Mahogany. Every detail, from the expansive flight deck and twin-island superstructure to the radar arrays and deck equipment, is carefully recreated by skilled craftsmen to capture the impressive appearance of the original carrier.



One of the defining features of the Queen Elizabeth-class is its innovative twin-island design, which separates navigation and flight control operations for improved efficiency. Combined with its large aviation capacity and advanced carrier systems, HMS Prince of Wales delivers a bold and iconic naval presence.



Completion typically takes 3 to 6 months, depending on the design complexity and selected materials.



We build each model until you are fully satisfied. During production, we'll send you detailed photos at each key stage:



- Hull construction

- Deck detailing and structures

- Final painting and finishing touches



Once the final version is approved, your model will be securely packed in a custom wooden crate with protective cushioning to ensure safe delivery anywhere in the world.

HMS Prince of Wales (R09) was commissioned into the Royal Navy in 2019 as the second Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier. The vessel was developed to restore the United Kingdom's carrier strike capability and support global naval operations alongside allied forces.



Designed to operate F-35B Lightning II fighter jets and various helicopters, the carrier features advanced radar systems, a large flight deck, and modern command facilities. Together with HMS Queen Elizabeth, the ship forms the core of the Royal Navy's modern carrier strike group.
