This is a gigantic 13 feet long museum-quality replica of San Felipe, one of the most beautiful Spanish galleons of the XVII century. This is a limited and exclusive edition. The first one was built for a museum in Europe. Master craftsmen using historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcraft this highly detailed model from scratch. It was built to scale with high-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. It is 100% hand-built using plank-on-frame construction method and is similar to the building of the actual ship. The model requires thousands of hours to finish and went through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.
