The USCGC Mackinaw (WLBB-30) is the largest icebreaker built specifically for the United States Coast Guard to operate on the Great Lakes. Commissioned in 2006 and constructed by the Marinette Marine Corporation in Wisconsin, the vessel serves as the successor to the legendary 1944 icebreaker of the same name.
