The LCU-1700 (Landing Craft Utility 1700) represents the United States Army's next generation of landing craft, developed to replace the long-serving LCU-1610 fleet. Designed to support expeditionary logistics and amphibious operations, the new class provides increased cargo capacity, greater operational range, and improved survivability while transporting tanks, armored vehicles, troops, and heavy equipment directly from ship to shore.
