The CS Anthem is a modern cable-laying vessel designed to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of submarine telecommunications and power cables that form the backbone of the world's digital infrastructure. Built in 2011 by VARD Tulcea Shipyard in Romania and completed by VARD Søviknes in Norway, the ship was constructed for demanding offshore operations in deep and shallow waters. Measuring approximately 121 meters (397 feet) in length, the vessel is equipped with advanced dynamic positioning (DP2) technology, large cable tanks, precision cable-laying equipment, and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems, enabling it to carry out highly accurate subsea cable installations even in challenging sea conditions.
