History
The SS Pennsylvania was a large transatlantic passenger liner constructed for the Hamburg America Line (HAPAG) during the height of European migration to North America. Built by Harland & Wolff in Belfast, she was launched in 1896 and entered service later that year on the busy Hamburg–New York route.
