History
The American Endurance is a modern U.S.-flagged product tanker engineered to strengthen America's domestic petroleum transportation network in compliance with the Jones Act. Delivered in 2017 by the Philly Shipyard in Philadelphia, the vessel was constructed for the Crowley Maritime Corporation as part of a new generation of environmentally advanced tankers. Measuring approximately 600 feet (183 m) in length with a deadweight of about 50,000 metric tons, it is capable of transporting up to 330,000 barrels of refined products, including gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. The ship features a fuel-efficient hull design developed by the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, along with double-hull construction, automated cargo handling systems, and LNG-ready technology that allows for future conversion to cleaner-burning fuel.

Since entering service, the American Endurance has operated along the U.S. East, Gulf, and West Coasts, ensuring the efficient movement of essential energy resources between refineries, terminals, and major ports.
