Combat Boat 90 36 Inches Ship Model

Combat Boat 90 – 36-Inch Handcrafted Wooden Model

Own a handcrafted tribute to one of the world's most respected fast assault craft. The Combat Boat 90 (CB90) was developed by the Swedish company Dockstavarvet for the Swedish Navy and has become a benchmark in modern coastal and riverine warfare. Designed for rapid troop transport, amphibious assault, coastal patrol, reconnaissance, and special operations, the CB90 combines exceptional speed, shallow-water capability, and outstanding maneuverability. Its robust aluminum hull, powerful waterjet propulsion, and versatile mission profile have earned it widespread adoption by naval and military forces around the world.

Our 36-inch handcrafted Combat Boat 90 model faithfully captures the distinctive appearance of the original vessel. Each model is individually built by experienced craftsmen using the traditional plank-on-frame construction method—the same principle used in real wooden shipbuilding. We select only premium hardwoods, including Western Red Cedar, Teak, and Mahogany, to ensure exceptional durability, fine detail, and a timeless finish.

Every element is carefully recreated, from the sleek deep-V hull and angular armored cabin to the bow loading ramp, radar mast, weapon stations, navigation equipment, deck fittings, and other signature features that define this iconic fast assault craft. Rather than being mass-produced, each model is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a museum-quality display piece worthy of any military or naval collection.

The 36-inch model offers a larger, more commanding display while showcasing an even greater level of craftsmanship and detail. Its increased size allows the Combat Boat 90's distinctive hull, bow ramp, and tactical equipment to stand out more prominently, making it an impressive centerpiece for an office, study, display cabinet, or dedicated collection room. Ideal for military collectors, naval enthusiasts, veterans, and maritime professionals, the 36-inch version delivers enhanced realism and visual impact while remaining practical for most display spaces. It is the perfect choice for those seeking a substantial museum-quality model that captures the speed, versatility, and mission-ready character of this legendary fast assault craft.

Each piece is individually handcrafted, with production typically taking 3–6 months, depending on the model's size and complexity. History
The Combat Boat 90 (CB90) was developed in the late 1980s by Dockstavarvet of Sweden for the Swedish Navy as a high-speed assault craft capable of operating in the country's complex archipelagos and shallow coastal waters. Entering service in 1991, the CB90 was designed to rapidly transport amphibious troops while providing exceptional maneuverability, speed, and firepower. Constructed from lightweight aluminum and powered by waterjet propulsion, the craft can exceed 40 knots while operating in waters less than one meter deep.

The CB90 quickly gained international recognition for its outstanding performance and has since been adopted or evaluated by numerous military forces worldwide, including the United States Navy. Its versatility allows it to perform troop transport, coastal patrol, reconnaissance, special operations, search and rescue, and humanitarian missions. Highly maneuverable and capable of beach landings, the CB90 remains one of the world's most successful fast assault craft, continuing to serve as a benchmark for modern littoral combat vessels.
