USS Midway (CV-41) was the lead ship of the Midway-class aircraft carriers and served as one of the longest-serving aircraft carriers in United States Navy history. Known for its massive size and Cold War service, the carrier became a symbol of American naval aviation for nearly five decades.



This 30-inch handcrafted model is meticulously built using the traditional plank-on-frame method and premium-grade woods, including Western Red Cedar, Teak, and Mahogany. Every detail, from the angled flight deck and island superstructure to the radar systems and deck equipment, is carefully recreated by skilled craftsmen to capture the impressive appearance of the original carrier.

USS Midway (CV-41) was commissioned into the United States Navy in 1945 as the lead ship of the Midway-class aircraft carriers. Built near the end of World War II, the carrier later became a major component of U.S. naval power during the Cold War era.



Throughout its long service history, USS Midway participated in operations during the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm, and numerous international deployments. After retirement in 1992, the carrier was preserved as the famous USS Midway Museum in San Diego, California.
