Chris Craft U22 - Sportsman 1950's - 30 inches boat model
The Chris-Craft U22 Sportsman of the 1950s is a classic American runabout, admired for its elegant proportions, practical layout, and timeless mahogany finish. Designed as a versatile family and leisure boat, the U22 Sportsman reflects the post-war era when Chris-Craft set the standard for quality, style, and craftsmanship in recreational boating.
This custom-made replica is handcrafted upon request, using premium Western Red Cedar, Teak, Mahogany, and other fine exotic woods. Constructed with the traditional plank-on-frame technique, the model faithfully captures the original hull form, deck configuration, cockpit layout, and characteristic Chris-Craft styling details. Each build requires approximately 4-5 months to complete.
Museum-grade attention is given to every detail. During the production process, you will receive photo updates at each major stage, allowing you to review and approve the build:
1. Hull construction and planking
2. Deck detailing, cockpit structures, and fittings
3. Final painting, varnishing, and finishing touches
Once completed and approved, the model will be carefully packed in a custom wooden crate with reinforced cushioning, ensuring safe worldwide shipping.
