The Berlin Express entered service in June 2023 as the lead vessel of Hapag-Lloyd’s advanced Hamburg Express-class fleet, representing a new generation of ultra-large container ships. Constructed by Hanwha Ocean in South Korea, the 1,312-foot (400-meter) vessel offers an impressive cargo capacity of 23,660 TEUs.
