The Combat Boat 90 (CB90) was developed in the late 1980s by Dockstavarvet of Sweden for the Swedish Navy as a high-speed assault craft capable of operating in the country's complex archipelagos and shallow coastal waters. Entering service in 1991, the CB90 was designed to rapidly transport amphibious troops while providing exceptional maneuverability, speed, and firepower.
